This course will address recent tax legislation, rulings and developments impacting business clients, including ARPA and late 2021 legislation; new regulations on reporting meals and entertainment expenses; partnership and S corporation update; depreciation update; and more!

 Option 1: November 30 (9:00 am – 12:45 pm)

This class will provide an update on current ethical issues impacting your practice. Chris Harper will first dive into, Practical Insights Gleaned From the AICPA Code of Conduct, where he will unpack the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct by exploring practical considerations for accounting professionals and examine selected provisions that are relevant to CPAs in both public accounting and industry. 

We will next address the many issues impacting the CPA practice with, CPA Ethics in a Crisis World: Tales from the Front. Steve will explore the unique challenges facing practitioners with actual practice situations and then analyzed for their ethical implications.
